Throggs Neck, NY – On a rare Saturday home match for the Privateer wrestling team, the Mules of Muhlenberg College came to town and took home with them a 39-9 decision. The Privateers were forced to give up two matches with senior Ben Towers (Valley Cottage, NY/) unable to wrestle in the 197 weight class and the team lacking anyone to compete at 141. However, the Privateers did pick up one forfeit win at 125 as Ian Mullins (River Ridge, LA/Archbishop Rummel) once again receives credit for the win. Sophomore Jason Ochs (Sayville, NY) picked up his eighth win of the year in a 5-2 decision over Muhlenberg Chris Galloway.

On Tuesday the team will be competing at Hunter College scheduled to begin at 4pm. The NYU match scheduled for Saturday February 5th has been changed to an away match at Kings College, the Privateers will now face both Kings and NYU on that day.
